COBRA - Continuing Coverage Administration

Despite the age of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), which was passed in 1989 and became effective in January of 1990, there continues to be confusion and general mystique in applying the rules. For most employers, COBRA with frequently revised rules, record keeping and various notices is a difficult responsibility to maintain. PBS will transfer current COBRA participants for the remainder of their continuation period, catch up and continue Initial Notice requirements and provide complete COBRA administration following a qualifying event.
